Methods of Destruction

Methods of Destruction is a publication that archives a series of jewellery experiments made in iron.

The book contains 50 pages containing images documenting the 30 different iron samples made as a result of a destructive act inflicted upon the material. The publication serves as a way of documenting how through different levels and methods of force, iron, as a material, can change its form. I handbound the publication using perfect binding and photographed/edited the images in Photoshop.

The publication was made at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence, Italy.
